For Those Who Have Faith

For those who have faith I thought this saying which I have just received as an email was great. Thank you to the sender.

When God pushes you to your limit, when everything seems to be against you, trust him, believe in yourself, because he can either catch you if you fall or teach you how to fly.  It is assumed you can swim. Seriously be prepared, think positive all times, smile and the  world will want to help you in your hour of need.

Remember friendly fire will hurt someone and fool proof plans are usually not.

Every rose has a thorn.

A bee full of honey has a sting in its tail.

Marriage is a lottery. Marry in haste, repent at leisure.

The longest day must have an end.

People who live in glass houses are foolish to throw stones.

Wise men learn from other peoples mistakes, fools learn from their own, or never.

Unreasonable silence is folly and can be soul destroying. Everyone loses.

I like to thank everyone who have sent me proverbs or sayings which have meant a lot to them.     www.thelaughingpoet.co.uk

I Find It Encouraging

I  find it encouraging when my blogs attract blogs of the same ilk.

Today I have received the following quotes encouraging us to do well and everyone will benefit and the world will be a happier place.

Don’t criticise or condemn others unless you have an answer to the problem.

The pen is mightier than the sword.

Sometimes it pays to pester.

Don’t complain about anything unless you are prepared to do something about it.

My heart knows that when winter has arrived I can look forward to wonderful spring.

Holding on to anger, resentment and hurt, only gives you tense muscles, a headache, a sore jaw from clenching your teeth.

Forgiveness brings back laughter and joy in your life, and inspires happiness all around.

Thoughts for today

If you think some of these thoughts would benefit others please feel free to pass them on.  I am sure you will do it discreetly so as not to offend.

Thoughts for today

Don’t criticise or condemn unless you have an answer to the problem.

Don’t complain about anything unless you are prepared to do something about it.

Remember the pen is mightier than the sword.

Sometimes it pays to pester and ask questions.

A true friend or loved one does not give up on you.

Holding onto anger, resentment and hurt, only gives you tense muscles, a headache, a sore jaw from clenching your teeth. Forgiveness gives you back the laughter and the lightness in your life.  It makes life worth living. Try hard to forgive and forget.
